Using parameters without brackets

I am trying to modify the grammar to use parameters without brackets '[', ']'. So far with:
NAME : ((options {greedy=false;} : ~('\u0000'..'\u001f' | '+' | '-'| '(' | ')' | '' | '/' | '%' | '>' | '<' | '=') ) )
it creates the correct syntax tree in ANTLRWorks but the problem is that the numbers are recognized as identifiers instead of values. How can I change that so that numbers are recognized as values?
Thanks.
